"Songs stay with people for life; they map out your past, and have memories and associations in the same way that the smell of a particular perfume can take you back..." - Rodney Fisher Rodney has been playing music for a long time. He started playing underage in an Irish pub in New Zealand. He had a band in New Zealand, Goodshirt, who played pop music like The Cars, had 2 platinum selling albums, won accolades at the New Zealand Music Awards, and were released in Australia, Japan and Canada. When Goodshirt parted ways Rodney started playing live guitar for a band called Breaks Coop. He decided to make a solo album, which he recorded in his brothers studio with Andy Lovegrove (Breaks Coop). His solo music is alternative folk country music. If you had to compare it to someone, you might choose Ray LaMontagne. Or Johnny Cash vs Don Henley. Or Smogs Bill Callahan. Or Harry Nillson. "Songs are a part of everyone's personal timeline, and all I hope that my music can mark memories in other peoples lives..." – Rodney Fisher
