Record labels and music publishers are anxious to get into the children's music market. In increasing numbers, both major label and independent artists established at making music for adults are seeking projects that permit them access to this very lucrative but otherwise unavailable market. A shift in the market has also occurred from what was once considered just-for-kids-ears-only music into real creative music success stories. In these times, perhaps it is better to sell records (and concert tickets and t-shirts and toys) than fade away.
