Who is The Big Red Rooster? Looking back at artists who have shaped the face of popular music over the years, each possessed an originality that could be embraced by listeners irrespective of the style. The Big Red Rooster follows in this path with a mission of fusing its members? creative visions into a unique blend of undeniably appealing music. Ambitious threads of hip hop, rock, R&B, funk, reggae, and many other styles permeate their highly original sound that they continually refine and are proud to call their own. Ever-steady Drummer EJ Anthony and multi-faceted bassist Philip Griffin lay down a foundation of solid grooves for rock-reggae guitarist Ted Lauck and the imaginative DJ PAC to build upon. MC Multi-Id?s tongue twisting rhyming prowess combined with R&B singer Reyez?s uncanny ability to provide smooth melodies at the perfect moment bring the sound together full circle. When these talented artists perform live, their bold-faced passion, relentless energy, and genuine camaraderie are melded to ensure that they rouse the crowd and rock the party no matter the setting. Their popularity has spread throughout the South while their success afforded the opportunity to perform with Bone Thugs N Harmony and landed them a production deal in 2007 with Grammy award-winning producer?s Play n Skillz. The latter?s undeniable talent of seamlessly crafting hooks over hip hop beats while penetrating pop avenues has only further tightened the Rooster?s unique style. Solid recording sessions with Play n Skillz laid the foundation for new opportunities within the hip hop community as they have laid down tracks featuring E-40 and Slim Thug. On top of all of this, whether they are writing, recording, performing, or just kickin? it wild style, these tight-knit friends love working together as a whole and consider each other family. This relationship combined with the desire to deliver a style all their own has enabled the Rooster to garner a loyal following throughout the South as fans never question their ability to create an unforgettable musical experience.
