Los Angeles' The Weather Underground is the exciting and original sound of four musicians influenced by punk, soul, blues, and human inspiration. The band members hail from diverse backgrounds, adding perspectives from Guatemala, Japan, and Mexico to delve deep into the essence of the American spirit. The Weather Underground self-released two eps in 2007 (When I Was A Solider and Psalms and Shanties) and have recorded a third ep for release soon. The band recently played Noisepop in San Francisco as well as an already legendary February 2008 residency at the Silverlake Lounge in Los Angeles.
