High-octane electronic NYC duo SERVICES gear up for the early 2008 release of their second single and forthcoming EP off the indie imprint A Touch Of Class Recordings. SERVICES are TRZTN and Christopher Pravdica, former members of the well-known noise rock outfit Flux Information Sciences (Young God Records). Resolute in creating challenging high-concept music, the two deliver an impressive live show of smart, stop-and-go, machine gun fire of beats and sample driven rock played in real time without a sequencer. In 2005 SERVICES signed with A Touch of Class Recordings, a label mostly known for their up-to-the-moment dance music, and released their debut album titled Your Desire Is My Business, co-produced and mixed by DJ/production duo A Touch Of Class (a.k.a. ATOC) and legendary producer Roli Mosiman (The The, Faith No More, New Order). SERVICES blasted audiences at All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival in May 2006 before joining the Yeah Yeah Yeahs for several shows in the UK. In conjunction with the UK tour, Services released their first 12” single “Element of Danger.” Steve Aoki listed “Element of Danger” as one of the best tracks of 2006 and has subsequently licensed it for his forthcoming compilation “Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles” due out in January 2008. Throughout 2007 SERVICES continued to tour abroad and in the summer embarked on their first US tour alongside hailed indie synth-pop band The Faint. SERVICES anticipate an early 2008 release of both their second single “Presenter,” featuring remixes by Zongamin and Nick Zinner (of Yeah Yeah Yeahs), and the “Presenter” music video directed by Barnaby Roper (Outkast, Franz Ferdinand, OK Go). Expect SERVICES' EP in the spring of 2008.
