Mutlu is a native son of Philadelphia, PA, the “City of Brotherly Love.” His new album, scheduled to be released this summer on Manhattan Records, features duets with Daryl Hall, Amos Lee, G. Love and Raheem DeVaughn. Mutlu offers up his own personal mix of Pop and Soul, drawing inspiration from Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder and Hall & Oates. A charismatic artist, he avoids falling into retro-phonic traps through the use of cool grooves and clever lyrics. Upon signing with Manhattan, the label initially released a 5-song EP produced by Amos Lee. Legendary session man and producer T-Bone Wolk produced Mutlu’s upcoming full-length CD. Mutlu will be touring with Joe Jackson this April.
