"An angel passes and the World stops. Beautiful and charming Caroline Keating. A young and fragile songwriter will break your heart. A voice slipped from the sky. Reminiscent to Kate Bush, Regina Spektor or Johanna Newsom." - Les inrockuptibles (Europe) BIO: Caroline Keating is from a small fortified French town in the north of Quebec. She grew up air pianoing on school desks and improvising Chopin's Nocturnes - which made her piano teacher very angry. As she grew a little in size, she moved to Montreal where she began to play in quiet cafés for people with kind ears. She carved songs out of stories ranging from frogs and birds agreeing over tea to the delicacy of people and the things they do. The minimalist but haunting piano approach that jaunts like the skip of a girl crossed with a voice which recalls flower petals and grapeseeds bouncing off linen sheets in the middle of spring makes for a poignant musical experience. Caroline has played Montreal's Fringe Festival, Pop Montreal, M for Montreal, and South by Southwest.
