Niña is a seasoned quintet from Monterrey, Mexico that unmistakeably falls into the indie rock and new wave categories. It's something similar to the movement that existed at the end of 70's - mid 80's in Manchester UK, when rock bands searched for their original sound as far as they could from Pop Music. Bands like New Order or The Happy Mondays searched for their musical roots on elements that rock and roll had never experienced before. Niña works the same way... the difference are the amount of elements and genres available now, these things make the results a little bit more complex within its content. The final sound its rock, indie rock... with the possibility to turn the most trained listener into a fan, as well as a listener who just wants to be entertained.
