About ETC: ETC (Erik Telford Collective) is a mix of jazz, ambient, and modern classical music. The goal of the group is to blend modern elements of electronic music with the more traditional sounds of modal jazz. The Collective is rounded out by Danny Anderson (guitar), Charles "Swift" Phillips (drums), Marcus Cardwell (bass), Paul Luedke (laptop/fx), and Alex Felan (keyboard). About Erik Telford (trumpet/fx): Erik is a Pacific Grove, California native and makes his home in Austin, Texas. He attended Berklee College of Music where he studied with trumpeter/composer Greg Hopkins and has performed with musicians such as Joshua Redman, Albert "Tootie" Heath, Grady Tate, Wynton Marsalis, Danilo Perez, James Williams, and Maria Schneider. He is also currently trumpeter for Flyjack, one of the most popular funk bands in Austin, and co-leader of Nueva Cosa, which he formed with fellow trumpeter Paul Luedke in 2007.
