Kim Taylor is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Florida. David Dye calls her" . . . smoky and exuberant . . . mellow and evocative . . ." Taylor was a featured artist on WXPN and the World Cafe as well as XM Cafe and The Loft. She has toured extensively with Ron Sexmith (30 dates in 2007) and Over the Rhine (50 + dates in 2005) and has also supported Josh Ritter, Grant Lee Phillips, Ben Lee, Aqualung and Grace Potter among many, many others. She has released two full length records: 2002's So Black, So Bright and 2006's I Feel Like A Fading Light. Greg Calbi (mastering engineer at Sterling Sound in New York) has started a vinyl only label called Experience Vinyl and will be internationally releasing Fading Light on vinyl in February of 2008. Taylor is represented by manager Michael Creamer (Superdrag, Letters to Cleo) and talent agency Paradigm (Larry Webman).
