Let The Distortion Has Its Sound, Then Give a Way For Visible Ideas of Perfection A rock band that has been waiting for so long, thirteen glorious rock songs, a rhyme to live in a big ideal picture of perfection. In the end, The Super Insurgent Group of Intemperance Talent has something to be told to people. Finally, The Super Insurgent Group of Intemperance Talent (aka. The S.I.G.I.T.) released a new thing. After play in numerous gigs for almost two years, their debut LP is ready to launch. After those two glorious years, this record is set to be out next Dec 16. This record will give peoples a bright hope that rock music is ready to welcoming one of the most talented rock bands that rise from our local scene. Bravely, this album is called Visible Idea of Perfection. “Raphael Mengs, a painter, defined Visible Idea of Perfection as a try to make something we always thought perfect to be imperfect and then it gives us other fresh ideas to make things clear how perfection has to be known. Mengs see an ideal perfection as a deposition consists of beauty, significant or expressive character, harmony, and colouring,” tells lead vocalist/ guitarist Rektivianto Yoewono. He added, “Mengs’ idea about perfection is very suitable with our senses when we’re working this album. We have our own definition about perfection. It can be different with others’ point of view. We believe the perfection is only on the proportion.” They made this album with an extra struggle. Through good times and bad times they’ve been having for the past years. They’d been looking for label who wanted to release their songs. Finally they met FFCUTS, a sub label of FFWD Records. *** “When we made our first EP, we were on hurry. We didn’t have enough time to find a proper sound to our music. Now we’ve found what really suits our music. Basically, this album’s recording sessions were just a further action to music we’ve been playing on stage for the past two years,” he tell us while remembering the old days he and the boys have passed. After a self titled EP, The S.I.G.I.T. has been in the front line of their local scene. Probably, they have been the most played gigs in Bandung. That EP was sold out. A Historical EP. That EP has given us a good image of this rock band. Ok, they are not satisfied with the output of that record, but publics have a different view. Since that era, The S.I.G.I.T. always has a special place on people’s heart. Their music represents lots of youth’s voice. Rock music always has a special portion on the life. It is their manifesto via each song they’ve wrote. Until now, Soul Sister is an anthem that always include on their long set. That’s why they put the song again on the album. They changed the arrangement. Another two songs from the EP are included on this album. A ballad song Live in New York and Clove Doper. Both are two songs that never go out from their regular set. Besides that, Visible Idea of Perfection also construct with a good construction made by lots of good rock songs from the band. Most of them are fueled with distortion elements, a basic need of rock music. The first single of the record, Horse, is a typical rock song that has a long term chance to be an evergreen rock song. Yes, we need more time to make this song as an understandable song. But when it hit you, it will last long on you. Horse has a very good guitar arrangement. There is also a track called Black Amplifier, peoples’ favorite song when they watch the band play their set on a gig. This one is an ear friendly song. Don’t miss All The Time. A forever ballad song you won’t forget. Mix with a romantic lyric about relationship between man and woman. It is hard to believe that a song like this comes from the band. Visible Idea of Perfection is closed with Satan State, a very entertaining climax. This song ends a beautiful album with maximum feelings from the start until the finish point of this album. This is a simple answer for our searching in the local rock scene. This one is too hard to be missed, a champion for its generation. Rekti close the conversation, “If anyone thinks that this album is a bad album, we can tell him/ her, that this album is bad for them, according to your visible idea of perfection. In the other hand, we made this album according to our visible idea of perfection. This sentence is so nice because it is so subjective and also defensive.” (pelukislangit)
