The most important live act in the country, Guadalajara, México-based wunderpair Sussie 4 started experimenting on organic-electronic hybrids since 1998. These excercises led to the creation of a constantly active/interactive workshop that achieved almost instant recognition on their debut delivery Música Moderna, which elegantly blended latin rhythms with jazz and pop into avante-garde trends, deliciously complemented by well known and soon to be recognized guest vocal talents. A true dancing extravaganza. Since then, the band started touring restlessly developing amazing high energy, multidisciplinary live performances, marrying succesfully electronic essentials with a wide array of percussions organically unified by drums, percussion, electric guitar, bass and vocals. This definitely continued shaping their sound. Their thumping sophomore release Red Album is a 15-track tour de force that steps a little bit more into rock grounds, keeping their danceable essence now featuring latin american trademark singers like León Larregui from Zoé (México), Alex Sergi from Miranda (Argentina) and Jorge González from Los Prisioneros (Chile), among others. To add a special plus to fans, Sussie 4 started preparing two different kind of shows with the band: Live Act (the organic-electronic set featuring Odin and César, flanked by Picho on percussion and drums and Esteban on electric bass) and Live Machines (the almost electronic set featuring Odin and Cesar doing reworks of select Sussie 4 tracks and their own high energy live-DJ-set-like mixes). Sussie 4 will be the opening act for Daft Punk in their Mexico Tour in November.
