Saul Williams is poet/musician/actor from Newburgh, New York. He is a graduate of the graduate acting program at Tisch School of the Arts (NYU). Saul co-wrote and starred in the indie docu-drama Slam which won the Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize and the Camera D'Or at The Cannes Film Festival. He is the author of four books of poetry including ",said the shotgun to the head." and The Dead Emcee Scrolls. His first album Amethyst Rock Star was produced by Rick Rubin. The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust! is his third.
