Le Baron was founded in 2004 at the south of the huge Mexico City. It all began when Eduardo (vocals) met the argentinian Mariana (bass) who decided to move out of Buenos Aires to live in Mexico. Together they started a new pop-rock band that soon won credibility in the local media. Eduardo & Mariana got together with a group of sound engineers & independent producers and finally founded Estudio Del Vista, where they met the other 2 members of Le Baron: Mauricio García (GTR) and Olmo Guerra (drums). Le Baron emerged in the right moment, just when the indie movement in Mexico was at its very peak. Their journey began at the end of 2006 when the band formally recorded their first EP, with producer Yamil Rezc. Five memorable tracks emerged: Inmovil, Exilio, El Vértigo del Desprendimiento, Soldado John & Segunda Vuelta. At 2007, everything started to come together when Mexico citie´s most important rock radio station Reactor FM, played “Inmovil”, their first single in their career. As soon as the song started making noise, the band began playing live and fans started to come out. They played at the Indie Bud Tour, and alternated with local & international bands like The Stills & Kaiser Chiefs. Amazingly, the local audience constantly requested the single in Reactor FM, making inevitable the recording of an acoustic radio version of the song (also featured in the EP). In December ’07 LeBaron released their second single “Exilio”; took part in the 3rd edition of the Corona Music Fest; and is currently filming the video for “Inmovil”, song that ranked as the #1 single in Reactor Fm list of “The Best 105.7 Singles Of The Year”.
