Raya Yarbrough’s debut Telarc release, Raya Yarbrough (CD-83658), will be in stores on February 26, 2008. Performing since age seven, Raya has developed a vocal and songwriting style that bridges her classic jazz roots with her eclectic pop-style ballads. She was a winner of the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Composition program, and has been a recurring participant in the Alternajazz Festival in Los Angeles, now in its ninth year.
