Inca Ore is Eva. She lives in Oregon, near the pink volcano. Her music is inspired by the differences and proclivities in people that are the soul's only comprehensible dimensions. She is very excited about the notions of human potentiality expressed in music. She loves to dance, cook and care for people, and wants to learn how to grow her own food. She just finished her first zine "Birthday." Her records have appeared on Weird Forest, Collective Jyrk, Not Not Fun and 5 Rue Christine. She is appearing at SXSW in support of her newest release on Acuraela, a split with Liz Harris from Grouper. Eva is at work at her latest album, "Princess of Atlantis," and finds herself most productive when dreaming of the repressed liberties of feminity mulching patriarchy. Grouper is Liz Harris, from Portland and the Bay Area. She is made of flesh and electrical impulses. She has bones, and muscle tissue surrounding the bones. She also has a variety of internal organs. And things coming out this year that are self released, on Acuarela, on Type Records, and on Root Strata.
