The Parisians

It’s been three years since The Parisians formed: these four guys have been regarded as the precursors of the French indie-rock scene and have represented an important part of it themselves. Beyond doubt they partly owe this to The Libertines whom they met in Paris and who were thrilled by The Parisians’ songwriting. They made their mark by countless wild and chaotic shows in every club in Paris. The word spread and ever since the band has contributed to the emergence of a young and unprecedented rock scene in France. Further shows in the UK, all over France, Germany and Switzerland along with the likes of The Paddingtons, The Libertines, Soundtrack Of Our Lives, BRMC or Mystery Jets made the band a fantastic live act and soon attracted the attention of the media (NME, Nylon, ARTE, Vogue UK, Dazed&Confused, Les Inrocks, etc.). With dazzling tunes such as “looking Good”, “Kiss Your Smile” or their stunning smash hit “Why Choose One Side” and melancholic romantic tracks like “You Say”, the band is making their way into a bright future.
