Nashville-based singer songwriter FORD TURRELL recorded his self-titled full-length debut with the help of producer of Reid Scelza, who spontaneously caught lightning on tape by capturing Ford's work with a full band in just a couple of takes per song. Amazon-owned MP3 site AmieStreet.com named Ford Turrrell's self-titled debut one of the Top 25 CDs of 2007, and the song "Let You Down" was recently featured on the James Woods CBS series "Shark." What starts with a whisper fills the room as every instrument comes together to form a full band, piece-by-piece. From the quiet beginning of "The Stillest Hour," through the raucous joy of "Till I See You Once Again" and "Something to Believe In," and into the very last note of "Roll Away the Stone," Ford Turrell will easily appeal to fans of artists like Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne, David Gray, and The Band. "Ford Turrell's self-titled debut introduces us to a talented young artist to watch. Turrell's well-crafted songs and rootsy, organic sound will appeal to fans of Ray LaMontagne or David Gray, and his poetic lyrics will have you hanging on every word. A promising debut from a promising artist." -- Abby White, Performing Songwriter Magazine
