Have you ever read a product review and questioned whether it was written by the manufacturer? Have you ever thought that you liked something listed on Craigslist, only to find out that it wasn't what you thought it would be? ExpoTV.com was created to provide consumers an unbiased user generated video platform to talk about the products they love, hate and can't live without. The platform has come to serve not only online shoppers at Google and AOL, but also people selling products on eBay and Craigslist. User generated video and video sharing Web sites have given consumers a way to get the word out on what they believe, giving their honest opinions without any editing or bias from a manufacturer. This presentation will discuss how to leverage the power of video over the Web to engage consumers in an active dialogue on their terms. It will take a closer look at the new applications and uses for video over the Internet; discuss the video sharing industry; and take a closer look into merging the voices of customers, advertisers and manufacturers in an unbiased, unfiltered, and unedited way.
